CEplate

 The Recreational Craft Directive requires a builder's plate to be affixed to the boat.

The plate is permanently attached and mounted separately from the boat hull identification number and contains the following information:

• manufacturer's name
• CE marking
• boat design category
• manufacturer's maximum recommended load
• number of persons recommended by the manufacturer for which the boat was designed to carry when under way.
